lyrics

It's Nice when people accept you for who you are
It's Nice when people accept you for who you are
And they're unconcerned about that bridge you burned
Or that cash you earned on the day

It's Nice when people accept you for who you are
It's Nice when people accept you for who you are
And they're unperturbed about your choice of words
No matter how absurd that they seem

(chorus)
It's nice to belong to some body or some one
Like a note in a song hoping the melody up and takes it a long
And that band starts up and the crowd start moving
And the world looks good for a while, and you smile

t's Nice when people accept you for who you are
It's Nice when people accept you for who you are
And they don't talk down when your friend are in town
And they all come around in the end

(chorus)
It's nice to belong to some body or some one
Like a note in a song hoping the melody up and takes it a long
And that band starts up and the crowd start moving
And the world looks good for a while, and you smile

'Like a cross between Lady’s Bridge era Richard Hawley and the slacker pop of Weezer, the promotional flick features the band in ridiculous false beards and glasses as they go about their business employing the underhand tactics of buying in bulk and burying said stock somewhere out in rural Ireland. It’s an extremely entertaining, humorous four and a half minutes that doesn’t take long before its tune is rooted in your head for the rest of the day.' - God is in the TV (video of then week)

about

glimmermen Dublin, Ireland

"Glimmermen are a different sort of band. In a sea of Spector-like indie landfill fodder they wear their honesty & integrity on their black sleeves with a sound that goes straight to the heart. Glimmermen know exactly the sound they want to make & that's something we want to hear". Le Cool Magazine Dublin ... more
